Recreational Trampolining

In these sessions gymnasts will work towards club awards 1 – 10. These awards are taken from the British Gymnastics Proficiency Trampoline Awards and provide the foundations for quality trampolining.

Awards 1-5 are suited to Pre-school, beginners and adaptable for participants with disabilities

Awards 6 -10 are suited to primary and secondary children for the age of 5 years, develops trampoline gymnastic actions, including routines.

Children aged 4.5+ are invited to attend sessions.

Younger participants are welcome by the discretion of the committee

Sessions at this venue run on the following days:

Mondays – Age groups Recreational

  • 16:00 – 17:00      Aged 5- 8
  • 16:00 – 17:45     Pre Development Squad Invite Only

  • 16:45 – 17:45       Aged 8 – 12

  • 16:45 – 18:30      Development Squad Invite Only

  • 17:30 -18:30       Secondary School & Adults

 

Competitive Sessions

We aim to recognise and develop talented, enthusiastic individuals all the way to their competitive goals. To become a squad member, you must first bounce with the recreational training session. Once you have obtained your award 9 from your personal achievement card, you are likely to receive an invitation to attend Pre development Squad training sessions. This is not an automatic right, but strictly by invitation

Mondays

  • 16:15 – 19:15 – Regional development
  • 17:00 -18:30 – Club development

Disabilities

Adhering to our National governing body, we are proud to have developed an integrated philosophy into our stand alone mainstream classes.

The session will be planed and run to the needs of the individuals / groups with fully qualified coaches to learn basic co-ordination skills, fitness, and skills on the trampoline, and above all have fun, social and enjoyable experience.

We are excited to extend our services into the OX5 postcode, offering an additional 36 spaces for new club members.

This is not an automatic right, but strictly by invitation.

Those who show aptitude, will be selected to join our club development squad to train to be selected to the City of Oxford Trampoline Academy.

Disabilities sessions

We offer private tuition for both individuals and groups of all ages and Disabilities.

These sessions will be planed and run to the needs of the individuals / groups with fully qualified coaches to learn the fundamentals of gymnastic trampolining. Working with our ABC, Agility Balance and Co-ordination programme, clients fulfil their potential in a fun and socially engaging environment.

Those who show aptitude, will be invited to participate within our mainstream classes by the discretion of the head coach.

  • 09:00 – 09:45     Under 5’s
  • 09:45 – 10:45     Mixed aged
  • 10:30 – 11:45       Invite Only
  • 11:45 – 12:45     Mixed ages
  • 12:45 – 13:45     Invite Only

In these sessions as well as working to develop new skills, we aim to develop the competitive aspect and requirements for competitions, working on strength and conditioning, time of flight, phasing and routine structure.
